^Round Table

The Round Table is a piece steeped in history, born from an antique tabletop carefully preserved for over 40 years by my grandfather, a furniture craftsman. As the 4th generation in the furniture business, it is a true point of pride for me to revive this unique tabletop, a testament to a family and artisanal tradition that has endured over the years. This tabletop, imbued with my family's history, is much more than just a piece of furniture: it is a connection between the past and the present, between authenticity and modernity.

With dimensions of 1200mm in diameter, 42mm in thickness, and 730mm in height, this round table is ideal for adding a vintage and warm touch to any interior. The tabletop is made of solid oak, with a grain that has been brushed to bring out its natural beauty. Currently, the top is unfinished, but it can be varnished or oiled, depending on the desired finish, to adapt perfectly to your style and preferences.

The table base, original and unique, comes from an antique drill press, thus adding an industrial and reclaimed dimension to the piece. The grey paint applied to the base highlights the raw and authentic look of the furniture while offering a subtle contrast to the warmth of the wood. This fusion of materials – cast iron for the base and solid oak for the top – gives this table a robust yet elegant appearance, with a touch of originality.

The table's design is inspired by the 70s, an era when furniture combined simplicity, functionality, and character. Thanks to its vintage style, this round table will find its place in various types of interiors, whether contemporary, industrial, or more traditional. It will undoubtedly become the centerpiece of your living room or dining room.

For maintenance, if the tabletop is varnished, simple dusting is sufficient. If you opt for an oiled finish, regular oiling is recommended to keep the wood in excellent condition.
